Making your own Edible Garden😁🏡

I know most of you are interested to live a self-sufficient lifestyle.  And yes!!😍 That's why you are here🐾

No matter how small our 🌿space, we can achieve certain degree of self-sufficiency. 

Growing your own food is itself a rewarding experience 🤠 We can enjoy it in any garden, big or small.

Today I have something to be shared with you all. 

These are few tips to be remembered before starting your Edible💚Garden. 

✓Learn more about your own 🌿Space: 

      That is nothing!! but checking whether your space have enough sun light.  Is there any shady spot? Is there any possibility to make alterations in future? Requires  Little Research 🤠 to know you growing space better.😜

✓Check out your seasons:

      As we all know!! We don't have same season throughout the year.  So it's mandatory for any gardener to plan accordingly.  Make sure you are planting the right plants based on  your seasonal conditions. 

✓ Preparing your own seedlings:

       It's always advisable to grow your own vegetable seedlings from seeds, instead of buying the seedlings directly form any nursery and planting it.  Buying seedlings are also expensive and it's not affordable every time.  Try to have your own seed starters and lets not miss to admire😎 the magic happening during their😀🌱germination.

✓ Start with minimal Plants:

        Simple and the most commonly made mistake by new food gardeners is Planting everything at once😂🤗 Yeah!! I can understand...it shows our interest in planting.  Yet, this will cause excess food availability as everything rip at the same time.  Also it maybe difficult to maintain a large number of plants in our beginning stage. 

✓ Learn to store:

         Sometimes we can't cook all our harvest in a single day. As told earlier, there maybe excess harvest. It's necessary to learn how to store and preserve your harvest to prevent food waste.😁

For example, herbs can be dried and store for later use.
