CLOVE BEANS (PART 1)

Hello friends, happy to see you all after a long break and today 😅 let's talk!!! About another rare variety from our BEAN FAMILY 🍀

As we saw it earlier, just like Winged Beans even this Clove Beans have many varieties in it.😃

Isn't it COOL!!😎

Generally, if it's Beans we remember only one particular Beans😂as a vegetable. 

Which we saw/knew right from our school books/days, other then that WE DON'T KNOW any other Beans right😐 It's strange!!

We need to learn/explore so many things that were once frequently used by ourselves and now Lost👀 just because of our ignorance.

Fine let's get started✌️, 

This type of vegetables were once frequently used in our South Indian kitchens and were called with different names;

In Tamil > மூக்குத்தி அவரை,

In English > Clove Beans,

In Malayalam > നിത്യ വഴുതന, 

Just look at those names in Tamil we call it as Mookuthi Avarai due to it's (nose pin like shape 😅)and in Malayalam we call it as Nithya Vazhuthananga as they bear fruit (every day throughout the year)

Wow!! doesn't it look amazed to know the reason behind their names 😂 😜

But now a day's it's highly hard to find them in markets. Most probably many of us🙄 don't even knew such vegetable, including myself 😑just two years back, I got introduced to this rare Variety 🌿

CLOVE BEAN DIVERSITY;

✓Clove Bean (Green Long)

✓Clove Bean (Green Short)

✓Clove Bean (Purple)

These Clove Beans have many varieties in it 🤓 as of now I have mentioned three of them. And do you know something 😅 there is no particular season to grow them. Throughout the year we can grow them in our garden.

SOME HIGHLIGHTS OF CLOVE BEANS:

✓This particular plant is free from pest attacks/insects.

✓Can be easily grown/cultivated without any special attention to it.

✓Gets germinated within two weeks.

✓It is a type of climbing plant and it has vines with baby thorns on them.

✓ Within 3 to 4 weeks they get started to bloom and bears fruits in clusters.

✓Rich in medicinal values.

Other then these usual things 😂 I have something very unique and special character that make us feel literally blessed 💖 is!! Admiring their BLOOMS they generally bloom during the evening. With such a huge petals compared to other vegetable flowers, hope you can understand once you see the pictures available below.

I have mentioned only few things about Clove Beans here!! There are lots to be learnt. 

Generally, we feel pride that our Nation is Rich in Diversity , but the thing is we are not aware that it's Not! only with human race🤠, our Nation is also rich in diversity with Vegetables and Fruits 😍

YES!! It's true😉we have so many varieties in every vegetable🍃Depending upon the need and climatic conditions same vegetable as its own uniqueness and difference😲some may vary with their colors or with their size or with their shape or maybe with their taste😜Don't get shocked!!will keep talking on these rare Varieties in our future updates 😇

I also knew a vegetable that has more then 15 varieties 😎in it.
