Winged beans are also called/named as;

               ✓Goa bean

               ✓Four-angled bean

               ✓Four cornered bean

               ✓Princess Pea 

And it's a type of a climber plant, once planted in our garden there's no need to replant them again 🤗for the next season.

WINGED BEAN DIVERSITY 💫

Hope you know the meaning for the word diversity😃(ie., பன்முகத்தன்மை) 

Same Winged bean has a unique difference in itself🍀, as of now they have discovered 6 - 7  different Winged bean varieties with it's own uniqueness 🐾

Among those 7 types, I have displayed two unique varieties that's available🤠for now. 

                  •Winged Bean (Green)

                  •Winged Bean (Purple)

 

Just look at these seeds friends 😄even the seeds are unique in their colour and size.

Recently I have sowed these two variety in my garden and let me share it's process;

✓Day1: Can sow these seeds directly in your planter Pot. 

 (For better germination, soak the seeds in clean water for 24 hrs. Do this before sowing the seeds in Seed Starter/Planter Pots)

On an average, Winged bean seeds may take 4-8 days to geminate

Once sowed, give a very light sprinkle of water to it.

✓Day2: Make sure that, the soil is moist untill your baby(Winged bean) plant pops out. ie., Seed to germinate 😜 Maintain this same procedure for the next few days

✓Day7: After a week time in your Winged bean plant, a True leaf 🌿 will start to emerge. 

Seed Failure:

Sometimes 😔some seeds may fail to germinate. 

Winged beans Success Rate generally depends on:

✓Seed quality

✓Seed age

✓Temperature

✓Water usage

✓Humidity

At times, due to some fungus attack seeds may get decayed 😕

Luckily 😎 Winged Beans can easily grow in atmost any soil condition. 

Other then clay, take any type of soil available to your convenience.
