Hello everyone!
I’m truly grateful to continue this book series, which has been lifting my heart in ways I can hardly explain. It almost feels like magic, because I don’t know why I chose these books in the first place. Yet, each one has come into my life at the right time, teaching me, strengthening me, and helping me lean on the Almighty ✨where our souls find real rest and peace in a world often filled with trauma and suffering.

Now, coming back to our journey, let us step into Part 7 of our book series: Why Is This Happening to Me? by Wayne Monbleau.

I’m sure you have come across people in your life, some who rise stronger after heartbreak and adversity, and others who sink into deep bitterness against God and life because of their suffering.

Whether we like it or not, suffering is part of the human journey. Each of us carry wounds 😥some visible, many hidden. Yet suffering teaches lessons that comfort and success never can. It shapes us in ways nothing else can.

This book was truly an eye-opener for me. It gently reveals that God invites us 😀right in the middle of our brokenness💔💝to follow Him and become wounded healers.💟

The author does not write like someone giving distant advice. He writes like someone who has walked through fire. He shares his own struggles with honesty and vulnerability, and that is what touched me the most. Through his transparency, I began to see how he himself became a wounded healer. And now, through this very book, his healed wounds are bringing healing to countless others around the world.

The very first chapter, “Keep Your Eyes on the Light,” was incredibly powerful💥💪. Honestly, just finishing this one chapter brought a deep sense of relief to my heart. My eyes filled with tears 😭 not out of fear, but out of faith and renewed hope.

Think about it for a moment.
If you were trapped in complete darkness, facing a life-threatening situation, do you think you could find your way out all by yourself?😟 Most likely not. In such moments, all we can see is darkness, and it feels endless.

That is where this simple yet profound message comes in:

“Keep your eyes on the light. Keep your eyes on the light. No matter how dark it is, no matter how lost or hopeless you feel, just keep your eyes on the light and everything will be OK.”

The author explains this truth in such a practical and beautiful way. It is not just a comforting sentence, it becomes a living reality as you read.

Because the truth is this:
The darker the night, the brighter the light shines.

I won’t reveal the full insight here. 😀😌It’s something I truly wish each of you would experience for yourself when you read the chapter. I’m sure it will touch your heart just as deeply as it touched mine.

Chapter 2: What Is a Wounded Healer?

This chapter deeply reminded me of how God transforms each one of us in ways we often fail to notice. If we truly have eyes to see and ears to hear, all of creation is quietly proclaiming the truth of resurrection life.

Jesus could not give us His life without first experiencing death. He willingly became like a seed that falls into the ground, dies, and then rises again ✨ bringing new life not only for Himself, but for all who come to Him.

As Scripture says:

“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” — Galatians 2:20

In our own understanding, Jesus came as the Healer of our souls. But He did not come as a distant or untouched healer.
He came as a Wounded Healer💝one who carried pain, suffering, rejection, and sacrifice, so that our wounds could be healed through His love.

This chapter gently teaches us that our own wounds are not meaningless. In God’s hands, even our pain can become a source of healing 💟 not only for ourselves, but for others too.

Chapter 3: Waiting and Acceptance

Life is not only about what we do; it is also about the attitude with which we do it. We all experience suffering, yet we often resist accepting it as part of God’s loving plan for our growth. Our natural tendency is to run away from difficulties. 😓We rarely pause to consider that our trials may be carrying valuable lessons about ourselves, about life, and about God.

If we were willing to slow down, wait, and listen closely, we might hear our suffering gently whisper:
“Accept me, and you will be healed.”

True insight begins when we are ready to examine the role we play in our own trials. When everything seems to be against us, the temptation to fall into self-pity becomes very strong.😖😕 But acceptance is different. Acceptance is a humble “yes” to God, trusting His timing and believing that He will work all things together for good. (Romans 8:28)

Jesus becomes our light, our strength, our wisdom, and our “present help in times of trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

Depending on our perspective, our trials can either soften our hearts or harden them toward God and others. When we begin to see God’s hidden treasure within our suffering, something beautiful happens. Compassion💖 grows within us. We develop a deeper desire and wisdom to comfort others in their pain. And in doing so, we ourselves begin to heal. We catch a glimpse of the quiet joy found in sharing the fellowship of Christ’s sufferings. (Philippians 3:10)

If we avoid our struggles, we also avoid our emotional and spiritual growth. But when we are willing to see God even in our cross, we begin taking the first small steps toward resurrection life. Slowly, we learn to rest and trust in God’s wisdom and care.

Often, the real struggle lies within us. We become convinced that we know what we need, how we need it, and when we need it. We focus so much on our own expectations😒😓 that we fail to see the deeper work God is doing.

What greater gift could God give us than the chance to bring His tender, healing love to others?
If we choose to see it, our suffering may actually be the answer to our deepest desire 💕 to become more like Jesus.💫

Each chapter of this book carried the same depth and comfort. As I continued reading, I felt a calmness and quiet joy rising within my heart, even in the midst of my struggles.

The journey continues through these powerful reflections:

💟Chapter 4: Concealing and Revealing 💟Chapter 5: The Lesson of the Seagull

💟Chapter 6: Accepting Your Humanity 💟Chapter 7: Springs in the Valleys

💟Chapter 8: What About Faith? 💟Chapter 9: Birth of a Wounded Healer

💟Chapter 10: Living Beyond Judgment 💟Chapter 11: Arise and Eat

💟Chapter 12: The Child Within 💟Chapter 13: Giving Thanks for the Thorns

💟Chapter 14: Parable of the Shipwreck 💟Chapter 15: That Which Held You Down Will Carry You Up

From the bottom of my heart, I warmly invite you to read this book. It is not only a blessing for your own life, but something that can quietly transform the generations that come after you.

Sometimes, the very wounds we try to escape become the places where God plants the deepest healing.💞 Hope you enjoyed today’s episode of our Book Series! 💫 and I'm really excited to meet  you all in our next book series soon. Until then #stay tuned with GIFTA🕊️SEEDS, if there is any queries feel free to mention them in the comments below.  And yes!! if you feel it's useful don't forget to share it with your friends and families whom you care the most and to people who wish to care for Nature💚
