I’m really happy to continue our book series with faith-strengthening book, “The Miracles of Jesus.” When we hear the word miracle, we often imagine something extraordinary, sudden, or dramatic. But this book gently shifts that perspective. It shows us that the miracles of Jesus are not merely supernatural events 😎😃they are profound signs of God’s compassion, mercy, and closeness to human suffering.
This book helped me slow down and truly see the miracles 💟not just as historical happenings, but as living messages meant for each one of us even today. Life is often unpredictable and unexpected. The things we trust the most may turn upside down, and sometimes the most unbearable moments arrive, breaking our hearts completely. I don’t know whether you’ll believe this, but I bought this book two and a half years ago and completely forgot about it. I never read it😔😐until life pushed me to the edge, tore through every layer of my soul and left me sitting alone with my loneliness.
That was when this book found me again.
The book is thoughtfully divided into four parts:
🎀Part 1: Introducing Miracles
🎀Part 2: Miracles as Signs
🎀Part 3: Miracles in Matthew
🎀Part 4: The Resurrection of Christ and Its Application
Each part invites us to look beyond the miracle itself and discover what it reveals about faith, suffering, hope and God’s presence in our everyday lives.
In the Bible, the four Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, records the miracles that Jesus performed during His life on earth. He healed leprosy, blindness, and many other diseases. He multiplied five loaves and two fish to feed the hungry. He cast out demons, walked on water, and even raised the dead.
At first glance, these may seem like events from long ago. But when life turns upside down😢when pain surrounds you from every direction, when suffering becomes heavy, and when you feel completely alone with no one to hold on to😖those miracles suddenly feel very close and very real.
It is in those moments, when tears force us to our knees, that we begin to cry out for mercy. And in that cry, we encounter not just a miracle-worker, but our Savior ♰ Jesus Christ.
All people Know God, but they suppress this knowledge and make themselves substitutes for the true God:
For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Rom. 1: 22
Arguments about the existence of God may be useful as a kind of tool for reminding people of what they already know. According to Scripture, God is continually active in the regularities of the world as well as in any unusual events. He is the King and Lord over both the regularities and the exceptions. The regularities in God's rule are what make science possible. Far from being in tension with science, God is the foundation for Science.
I believe that the Gospels are indeed God's words, not merely human words. As I go through this book every single day it gave me renewed strength and new hope and lifted me from all those darkness and worries that surrounded me for about a year😟though people are good..... situations and emotions make us hurt each other, of course not intentionally but it do happens. Reading one chapter per day😊 really helped me to connect with the incidents of my life and the miracles made by Jesus, the author have explained them in such a way that it feels like very close to our hearts and we can definitely feel the presence of God in our midst and I'm really glad and happy for the author of this book.
At the end of each chapter the author have made a diagrammatic representation which make us to understand the incidents from bible with our life and as every miracles are pointing to the Resurrection and how we should apply them in our daily life as application, that was really very helpful and makes us to understand them clearly. Let me give an example;
Christ now has power to give us new life, even as he gave new life to Lazarus when he called him our of the tomb. When Lazarus was dead, Jesus said, "Lazarus, come out!"(John 11:43). Now, through the gospel, Christ says, "Come out!" to people today who are dead in sin (Eph. 2:1). And they do come out! They come out, not because they have power in themselves to renew themselves, but because Christ summons them with his divine power, which is also the power of his resurrection.
This is how every single miracles made by Jesus is explained as we can connect with our own life and they were days were I had tears in my eyes, i felt overwhelmed with love form God💞 and it was He who has renewed by life😎 and gave me a new breath of Hope and Faith.😌 That today! I'm witnessing his mercy - I'm writing a review of this very book ''The Miracles of Jesus". I wish from my bottom of my heart that you too read this book not just as another book but a book that turns out your fear to faith and pain as power. I completed this book at the end of the year 2025, and this is how i felt, Maybe this year buried us with Worries & Sufferings! Even to the worst died with Heartbreaks! Just like a seed buried into the soil & dies before it endures Everlasting Life.
Remember not the former things, not consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19.
By turning the PAIN as POWER💪 and defeat the FEAR with FAITH💝It is time to thrive like NEVER BEFORE!!💃
